Carli Lloyd receives a round of cheers at the Phoenix Open after a Hall of Fame year

Carli Lloyd’s retirement has been anything but quiet. And one of the most decorated soccer players in the world recently added two more achievements.

Lloyd, who played at the WM Phoenix Open’s Annexus Pro-Am Wednesday for the second straight year, was welcomed on the famed 16th hole with cheers. Two fans earned a smile and a wave from Lloyd after they held up her iconic No. 10 U.S. National Team jersey from the stands.

That jersey and Lloyd, 42, will forever be remembered as she was elected to the National Soccer Hall of Fame in December in her first year of eligibility. It came just two months after Lloyd and her husband, Brian Hollins, welcomed a baby girl to their family.
